Systems Biology meets Synthetic Biology

Systems Biology and Synthetic Biology can be regarded as two complementary approaches to deal with the complexity of biological systems on a molecular level. The first workshop “Systems Biology meets Synthetic Biology” offers the opportunity to discuss novel methodological developments in the two fields and their crosslinks, to find synergies and to foster collaborations.

The topics range from in silico experiments, modelling of systemic responses, adaptive laboratory evolution, and metabolic engineering. International renown keynote speakers from research and industry will give insight to regulatory strategies, synthetic genomics and more. The case studies presented include defined heterogeneity, cellular resilience, synthetic cycles for the fixation of carbon dioxide, orthogonal timer circuits, rewired regulatory pathways for combating inflammation, and many more.
Abstracts of posters can be submitted until April 13th, 2017.

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
