Kompromisse und moralische Konflikte

Kompromisse sind aus unserem täglichen Zusammenleben so wenig wegzudenken wie aus der Politik. Dennoch sind sie wissenschaftlich kaum untersucht. Welche moralischen Prinzipien sind bei Kompromissen relevant? Unter welchen Bedingungen sind Kompromisse moralisch geboten oder unzulässig? Wann haben sich Kompromisse als erfolgreich erwiesen oder eben nicht? Diese Fragen sollen theoretisch diskutiert und mit Blick auf Beispiele aus der Praxis – Israel-Palästina-Konflikt, Brexit – reflektiert werden.

Geleitet wird die Tagung von Prof. Dr. Véronique Zanetti und Prof. Dr. Fabian Wendt (beide Philosophie, U Bielefeld).
Die Tagungssprache ist Englisch.
