Nicola Baumann könnte die erste deutsche Frau im Weltall werden. Sie wurde unter mehr als 400 Bewerberinnen als eine von zwei Finalistinnen ausgewählt. Baumann studierte Maschinenbau und ist eine von lediglich drei Frauen in Deutschland, die bei der Bundeswehr den Eurofighter fliegen dürfen.
