Nach der Begrüßung durch BTU-Präsident Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Steinbach folgen die Grußworte von Dr. Martina Münch, Ministerin für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur des Landes Brandenburg, Hendrik Fischer, Staatssekretär im Ministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie sowie vom Präsident der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reimund Neugebauer.
Im Anschluss daran wird Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Schenk, Inhaber der Professur Mikro- und Nanosysteme der BTU und Leiter des Fraunhofer IPMS, den neuen Institutsteil vorstellen. Anschließend findet ein Fototermin mit symbolischer Übergabe des Namensschilds des neuen Institutsteils statt.
Das offizielle Programm endet mit einem Fachvortrag zum Thema »Trends in der Sensorik« vom Vice President der First Sensor AG, Peter Krause. Danach stehen Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Schenk und Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Steinbach gerne für Fragen zur Verfügung.
