DVB-S based passive radar imaging

Passive radars are a powerful tool to detect and image targets with no requirements for dedicated transmitting segments. In particular, DVB-S satellites represent an interesting choice for passive maritime targets imaging, assuring a permanent coverage over remote areas, even off-shore. This presentation shows the passive receiver SABBIA developed at Fraunhofer FHR, the applied radar techniques and the results achieved within a cooperation with the University of Rome „La Sapienza“.

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
