This Conference will be a joint effort of the University of Greifswald, the University medicine of Greifswald (funding programme of the DFG Research Training Group 2719 “Proteases in pathogen and host: importance in inflammation and infection”), the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (FLI), Federal Research Institute for Animal Health, and the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald.
This interdisciplinary event is directed towards leading established experts and promising young scientists working in the fields of microbiology, virology and infection biology. Topics include state-of-the-art research on bacterial and viral interactions with the human host as well as recent advances in the understanding of (co-)infection mechanisms and pathophysiology. The programme of the Summer School combines keynote lectures, oral presentations by experts in the field and young investigators, and posters.
Last-minute registrations are possible. Cash payment possible on Monday on location.
