Der Anfang Juni gewählte Fakultätsrat der Fakultät Wirtschaft-Logistik-Verkehr der FH Erfurt, mit über 1100 Studierenden und 32 Professoren größte Fakultät der Hochschule, hatte sich am 2. Juli konstituiert. Zu ihm gehören die Professoren Dr. Karl-Heinz Moritz, Dr. Christian Foos, Dr. Thomas Berndt, Dr. Cordula Boden und Dr. Stefan Landwehr, die Mitarbeiter Christine Diezemann und Ronald Glembotzky sowie die Studierenden Alexander Görnhardt, Stefanie Fliedner und Oliver Reich.
Das Gremium wählte am 18. Juli in geheimer Wahl Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Huber erneut zum Dekan. Das Präsidium der FH hat am 30. Juli die Wahl bestätigt.
Professor Huber lehrt in der Fachrichtung Verkehrs- und Transportwesen das Lehrgebiet Softwareentwicklung und luK-Anwendungen. Es wird seine vierte Amtszeit –davon die dritte als Dekan der der Fakultät WLV- sein, zuvor war er Dekan des Fachbereichs Verkehrs- und Transportwesen.
Offizieller Amtsantritt für die neue Legislaturperiode wird am 1. September 2014 sein, die Amtszeit dauert drei Jahre.
