Das Projekt mit dem Namen TRASE hat ein Gesamtvolumen von 255.000 Euro und wird von der Förderlinie Erasmus+ gefördert. Projektpartner sind außer der Hochschule Merseburg Institutionen aus insgesamt sieben europäischen Ländern. Gemeinsam entwickeln und testen sie einen 40-stündigen Trainingskurs für Fachkräfte. Diese sollen durch den Kurs befähigt werden, Menschen mit Behinderung eine professionelle und vor allem zielgruppenorientierte Sexualerziehung zu ermöglichen. In jedem der beteiligten Länder soll darüber hinaus eine Akkreditierung des Kurses und eine Integration in bestehende Studiengänge angestrebt werden.
