DECHEMA Prize 2019 - And the award goes to...

You are cordially invited to join the award ceremony followed by two exciting lectures.

PD Dr. Harun Tüysüz from the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim an der Ruhr received the DECHEMA Prize 2019 for his outstanding work on the development of catalysts that can be used in chemical synthesis as well as in energy conversion.

First the award winner will explain the current progress in alkaline electrolysis and thereafter Prof. Robert Schlögl from the Max-Planck-Institut für Chemische Energiekonversion in Mülheim an der Ruhr shows the importance of hydrogen as the green gas of the future.

The DECHEMA Prize is awarded in recognition of outstanding scientific achievements in DECHEMA’s sphere of interest which are of fundamental importance and serve as an impetus for innovative developments. Preference is given to the work of younger, early career scientists who, for instance, do not yet hold a permanent professorship or a comparable position in a research institution or industry.
