Is Storage the Holy Grail for the Integration of renewables?

Volker Wachenfeld and Saša Bukvic-Schäfer have asked themselves the same question in their blog 5 years ago: "Is Storage the Holy Grail for the Integration of renewables?" with a clear german answer - "Jein".

What has changed in the past 5 years except the fact that we can find more than 1.380.000 hits in google claiming to know the answer? Within the 30min dialogue our experts will analyze the benefits of storage, classify where and why we should use it and see if the answer to this old question will become more explicit.

Don't miss out - 5th of october 2020 | 6:00 p.m. CEST | 1:00 p.m. (Sao Paulo) | 9.30 p.m. (New Delhi)

Help

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
