    Meet Excellence in German Engineering – Meet the TU9 Institutes of Technology

    From August 26 to September 3, 2015 the TU9 Institutes of Technology are visiting North America and invite interested researchers, students and company representatives to meet them at information events in San Francisco, Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

    Berlin/ San Francisco/Atlanta/Pittsburgh – TU9 is the alliance of leading Institutes of Technology in Germany: RWTH Aachen University, TU Berlin, TU Braunschweig, TU Darmstadt, TU Dresden, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Technical University of Munich, Universitaet Stuttgart.

    The TU9 Universities are excellent in research in the fields of engineering and the natural sciences, they lead the way in teaching and are international. They stand for excellence in German Engineering.
    The TU9 are visiting North America and invite interested researchers, students and company representatives to meet them at information events in San Francisco, Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

    “The TU9 universities are looking for potential international partners interested in research collaboration”, says TU9 President Prof. Dr. Hans Jürgen Prömel (also President of TU Darmstadt). “Such cooperation would ideally lead to increased research exchange in the vibrant areas of Digitalization of Society, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Mobility and Medical Technology for an Aging Society. We are very much looking forward to the TU9-USA-Roadshow.”

    Research opportunities for post-docs and young investigators at TU9 Institutes of Technology

    TU9 Institutes of Technology offer an inspiring research environment for post-docs, who would you like to launch a scientific career in Germany. Young investigators are invited to learn more about the various opportunities at leading Institutes of Technology in Germany - in engineering and many other fields.

    Cooperative education and industry networks

    The distinguishing feature of the German Institutes of Technology is their strong focus on applied science: They offer internships, bachelor’s and master’s theses in cooperation with companies, and PhD programs conducted with partners in industry.
