New EMBO Fellowships for Core Facility staff

Dr. Tilmann Kiessling EMBO Communications
EMBO - excellence in life sciences

Heidelberg 25 February 2020 – EMBO announces an extension of its current Short-Term Fellowship scheme: Core Facility Fellowships. These fellowships will support exchanges of technology and expertise between core research facilities that provide services to research institutions or universities.

The fellowships, which are funded by the European Molecular Biology Conference (EMBC), will support these exchanges through financial contributions towards travel and subsistence costs for facility staff to visit other research facilities. The aim of the exchanges is for scientists or technicians working in a core facility to learn specific techniques or acquire expertise which they can then implement at their home institutes when they return.

The programme fosters international exchange, so the home and host institutes must be in different countries. Both institutes must be located in an EMBC Member State, EMBC Associate Member State or Cooperation Partner. A list of eligible countries can be found here. The exchange visit can last for a period of one week to one month.

Applications for Core Facility Fellowships are now open. Further information about the eligibility criteria, benefits of the programme and the application process can be found on the EMBO website at: https://www.embo.org/news/press-releases/2020/new-embo-fellowships-for-core-faci...

    Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

    Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
