New English language master’s programme Sustainable Urban Development

    Darmstadt, June 7, 2019. Technische Universität Darmstadt will be presenting the new joint degree master’s programme in “Sustainable Urban Development” as of the winter semester 2019/20. This four-semester full-time degree course will be jointly supported by TU Darmstadt’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Sciences and the Vietnamese-German University in Ho Chi Minh City. The closing date for applications is 15 July 2019.

    The interdisciplinary joint master’s programme is aimed at students with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Sociology, Political Science or comparable subjects. The courses are delivered entirely in English. The degree programme will be completed in both Darmstadt and Ho Chi Minh City.
    Graduates will receive a joint master’s degree from the TU Darmstadt and the Vietnamese-German University, which will qualify them for work in international management, for example, in public authorities, with private investors or advisory institutions such as the World Bank or the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
