Smart mobility is a very strategic topic for Europe answering major challenges such as increasing road safety, achieving smoother traffic flows, thus improving environmental impact of road transport and enhance driving comfort for the citizens.
Profound change lies ahead for the transport sector. The resulting transformation creates huge social and economic opportunities that Europe must seize now, to reap the benefits for its citizens and businesses and Digital technologies are one of the strongest driver and enabler of this process.
The topic offers a high potential of winning collaborations thanks to:
• The necessity of adopting the latest technologies in cross-border technologies such as microelectronics, vision/imaging systems, software technologies, advanced materials.
• The large variety of involved actors such as OEM, R&D solution providers mainly SME in France, RTO and larger industrials, social and legal experts; thus offering numerous and promising interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities.
