With over 600 international participants, more than 80 speakers and more than 50 companies at the Sponsors‘ Exhibition accompanying the conference, the “AKL – International Laser Technology Congress” has established itself in Europe as the leading forum for applied laser technology in production: In May 2020, laser manufacturers and users from various industries will meet for the 13th time at the AKL’20, organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT.
From novices to experienced users: there is something for everyone at the AKL’20, which takes place every two years. The technological conference provides a comprehensive overview of current developments in laser materials processing in the macro and micro range and laser beam development. It will be complemented by the specialist forums “Process Monitoring & AI”, “Laser Additive Manufacturing” and “Quantum Technology”. Newcomers to the industry can acquire basic knowledge about the functionality of lasers and their possible applications in the “Laser Technology ABC’s”.
More than 80 experts from research and industry will inform AKL’20 visitors about current trends in laser technology in the automotive or aircraft industry, electrical or power engineering as well as in mechanical engineering and micro technology, and provide first-hand practical suggestions.
Information, inspiration and networking
Between the presentations, the accompanying Sponsors‘ Exhibition with over 50 well-known exhibitors offers the opportunity to make contacts with proven experts in the laser industry and exchange information. Executives and marketing managers will also have the opportunity to take part in the “Technology Business Day” and gain new knowledge about the status and prospects of the European, American and Asian laser markets.
