The first KETBIO Online Partnering on 10th October 2019 is a chance for everybody interested in biotech innovation to meet other stakeholders from the European biotech community, get in-depth information on recent findings and explore opportunities for cooperation – and all that from their own office desk!
No matter whether you are a researcher, an innovator or a company, you can benefit from taking part in the KETBIO Online Partnering:
• Projects in the biotech sector have a chance to gain broader visibility and reach out to potential cooperation partners from industry to speed up the commercialization of their results.
• Industry representatives get an overview of new unexploited technologies, discuss cooperation opportunities with knowledge owners and identify new business opportunities.
In addition to the individual partnering schedule, project presentations and a lunch talk will stimulate discussion and set impulses.
Participation is easy and free of charge. Following online registration, project representatives fill in their project’s profile and start looking for industry representatives already in the online hub. Industry experts can screen the projects and look out for interesting technologies. All participants can use the scheduling tool to organize 1:1 online meetings in a secure setting to get in touch, ask questions and discuss ideas for cooperation. Online presentations of projects and an online lunch talk give an overview of some of the technologies available and provide an impulse for further exchange on the online hub.
The KETBIO Online Partnering is part of the KETBIO project. KETBIO is a HORIZON 2020 funded project that is made up of a consortium of partners from across Europe who have a wealth of experience and knowledge to support and drive the optimisation of the commercialization of biotech research within Europe. KETBIO has a clear mission: to identify Europe`s most innovative results in biotechnology research and speed up their market uptake. KETBIO aims to bring the biotechnology community together in an interactive, vibrant forum, deploying latest technology to increase knowledge and reduce barrier to entry and interaction, and provide value-adding activities to the community.
