Due to the developing situation with respect to Covid-19 the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT has decided, not to move forward with the International Laser Technology Congress AKL´20 on May 6–8, 2020 in Aachen.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT sets highest priority to the safety and health of our staff, partners and all attendees of AKL´20. The management of Fraunhofer ILT evaluates the progressing situation with respect to the spread of Covid-19 and is consulting with the local authorities.
According to the current situation the management decided not to move forward with AKL´20, to which about 600 attendees and more than 80 lecturers were expected. The exhibit is fully booked. This is a preventative measure. Depending on the future development of the pandemic we will decide on an alternative date for the conference AKL.
We understand the impact this might have for you with respect to this important networking event of the laser community. We ask for your understanding in us taking this decision. Over the next days the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT will contact all attendees, lecturers and exhibitors.
