The conference will be a chance to hear and discuss the achievements of this unique collaborative project of public sector scientists working in environmental biosafety of GM crops, both in the case study countries and in the development of methods and tools for a scientific and logical process by which risk assessment can be conducted. It will also be an opportunity for you to share your own activities and experiences with project members. The conference will be attended by the project steering committee and a number of core group members, as well as the project Advisory Board, including representatives from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation who are supporting the project, the Swiss Agency for Environment, Forestry and Landscape, the Secretariat of the Biosafety Protocol, and the governments and research institutes of Kenya (e.g. Dr. Hans Herren, Director General of International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology), Brazil (e.g. Dr. Paulo Kageyama, Ministry of Environment, EMBRAPA, Dr. Paulo Peret, Ministry of Science and Technology), Vietnam (e.g. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuat, Director of National Plant Protection Institute, Dr. Vu Duc Quang, Agricultural Genetics Institute).

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
