idw account registration and subscription

idw offers you a subscription to press releases and announcements of coming events from the idw member institutions - free of charge. You can create your own personal and individual subscription according to your own wishes, needs and interests. This subscription can be modified and/or ended at any time. The information that you have subscribed to receive will be sent to you by email.

Your personal data are treated as confidential and will not be passed on to third parties. The idw sends you only the information you wish to receive plus any information relating to the adminstration of your user account and your subscription(s) deemed necessary. You will not receive spam.

In order to have a subscription, you will need personal access to the idw system, which you create for yourself by means of the following form.

The easiest way to subscribe to press releases and event announcements is to select one of the following packages. You will then receive an daily overview in the late afternoon, containing press releases from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and/or other countries. Your personal subscription, tailored to your needs and interests, can be put together by going to "Individual selection" in your menu. This as well is completely free of charge.

Package subscriptions can also be modified at any time to suit your individual wishes.

For a combination of individual and package selection, preliminary selections can be made on the form which follows.

Please state whether you wish to subscribe to announcements of coming events. These will be sent to you once a week - every Thursday - and include all events shown in the idw system up to that date which satisfy the criteria you have selected above in regard to fields of knowledge and location of institution.
