EURO FOOD CHEM XIII and Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag 2005

The Food Chemistry Division of the Federation of European Chemical Societies (FECS) and the Lebensmittelchemische Gesellschaft, a division of Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh), are pleased to announce the international conference

EURO FOOD CHEM XIII (September 21 - 23)
"Macromolecules and their Degradation Products in Food -
Physiological, Analytical and Technological Aspects"
(FECS-Event)

immediately following the

34. Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag 2005 (September 19 - 21)

September 21 is the overlapping day.

Aim

EURO FOOD CHEM XIII and Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag 2005 intend to bring together food specialists, researchers, officials and other professionals from universities, laboratories, research institutes, industry, trade, public authorities and many others from Europe and all over the world to discuss the general aspects of Food Chemistry

Conference Language

The conference language of EURO FOOD CHEM XIII is English. The conference language of Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag is English on Wednesday, September 21, and German on September 19 and 20. Posters at Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag may be presented in English or German (English preferred).

Scientific Programme

The international EURO FOOD CHEM conference will include invited plenary lectures, short oral presentations and poster sessions dealing with the following topics:

1. General aspects

2. Analytical, structural, technological and physiological aspects of

Proteins and nucleic acids in food
Metabolites and degradation products of proteins and nucleic acids
Dietary fiber
Metabolites and degradation products of dietary fiber
Starch and modified starches in food
Melanoidin


The main topic of Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag 2005 is

Allgemeine Entwicklungen der modernen Lebensmittelchemie.

The second circular will contain the final programme, registrations form and travel details, information on accommodation and social events. It will be mailed in April 2005.

Students: EUR 150
All participants of EURO FOOD CHEM XIII are kindly invited to participate in Deutscher Lebensmittelchemikertag without an additional fee.
