Vom 16. bis 20. September findet die 99. Jahresversammlung der Deutschen Zoologischen Gesellschaft (DZG) an der Universität Münster statt. "Partnerwahl, Parfüm und Immungenetik" (Prof. Manfred Milinski, Direktor der Abteilung Evolutionsökologie am MPI für Limnologie in Plön) und "Current Aspects of stem cell research" (Prof. Hans Schöler, Direktor am MPI für Molekulare Biomedizin, Münster), sind die Themen der öffentlichen Abendvorträge (Samstag, 16. 9. 2006, 17 Uhr bzw. Dienstag, 20. 9. 2006, 18 Uhr, in deutscher Sprache) zu denen alle Interessierte herzlich eingeladen sind.
Während der Jahrestagung der Deutschen Zoologischen Gesellschaft (DZG) e. V. wird die Karl-Ritter-von-Frisch-Medaille an Herrn Prof. Martin Heisenberg aus Würzburg verliehen. Parallel zur Tagung findet das Symposium "women in science" statt (Montag 18. 09., 15 Uhr, freier Eintritt, öffentlich, in deutscher Sprache).
