Dr. Warnicks Forschung und sein Vortrag drehen sich um die Sonne. Unsere Sonne ist ein aktiver Stern: oft kommt es auf ihr zu gewaltigen Ausbrüchen. Diese Sonnenstürme können auch Auswirkungen auf die Erde und den Menschen haben. Mittels neuester Daten (u.a. atemberaubende Filme von Sonneneruptionen) sollen diese Zusammenhänge aufgezeigt werden.
