1976 wurde an der Technischen Universität
Darmstadt der erste Studiengang Wirtschaftsinformatik an einer deutschen
Universität eingeführt. Heute, dreißig Jahre später rollen die großen Unternehmen für die Absolventen aus Darmstadt den roten Teppich aus.
Das spiegelt auch das hochkarätige Podium der abendlichen Diskussionsrunde: Neben Deutsche Bank-Vorstand Hermann-Josef Lamberti diskutieren ab 19.15 Uhr Prof. Dr. Lutz Heuser, Vice-President Research SAP AG, Detlev J. Hoch, Director, Head of global Software & Services Practice, McKinsey & Company, Inc. sowie Michael Danninger, Chief Technology Officer, Systems Union GmbH und Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Peter Mertens, Emeritus am TU-Lehrstuhl für Betriebswirtschaftslehre über Chancen und Risiken für den Softwarestandort Deutschland. Moderiert wird der Abend durch FAZ-Redakteur Dr. Holger Schmidt.
Im Vorfeld finden ab 16:45 Uhr wissenschaftliche Fachvorträge statt. Die Veranstaltung wird um 16:15 Uhr durch TU-Präsident Johann-Dietrich Wörner und Studiendekan Prof. Dr. Peter Buxmann eröffnet.
