Die Geschäftsführende Gesellschafterin der Firma Hirschmann Laborgeräte GmbH und Co. KG ist Bundesvorsitzende der Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland. Kirsten Hirschmann wurde 1968 in Heilbronn geboren. Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Bankkauffrau leitete sie von 1991 bis 1992 eine Filiale der Kreissparkasse Heilbronn. Im Anschluss studierte sie erfolgreich Betriebwirtschaft an der Fachhochschule Pforzheim. Nach dem unerwarteten Tod ihres Vaters übernahm sie im Alter von 26 Jahren dessen Firma, die Hirschmann Laborgeräte GmbH. Seit 1964 entwickelt und fertigt Hirschmann in Eberstadt Volumenmessgeräte aus Glas, Liquid-Handling-Produkte für die Bereiche Dosieren, Pipettieren und Titrieren sowie Präzisionsglaskapillare.
