The first part of the course covers the scientific basis of laser physics and biological effects upon laser tissue interaction. Laser safety plays a major role. In the second part of the course, laser applications in the management of urological diseases will be presented with theoretical background and shown in practice. The course is conducted and certified according to guidelines of the German Society for Laser Medicine. Successful completion of the course will enable the participant to act as a safety officer. The ILM is authorized by a Government Safety Organization (BGFE) to certify safety training in laser applications in medicine. In addition, the participation in the course will be recognized by a certificate of the EACCME? (European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education).

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
