2007 ist zum Jahr der Geisteswissenschaften erklärt worden: www.abc-der-menschheit.de. Die Universitätsbibliothek der TU Berlin zeigt aus diesem Anlass eine Ausstellung von Medien aus ihrem Bestand, die den Text des berühmten Schauspiels "Faust" von Johann Wolfgang von Goethe zum Inhalt haben. Exemplarisch werden an diesen Medien die gravierenden Veränderungen in der Art der Überlieferung von Schrift und Text in den letzten Jahrhunderten verdeutlicht.
