Grundlage einer Fort- oder auch Neuentwicklung von E-Government-Angeboten in der Praxis bilden vielfach die Forschungsergebnisse einschlägiger Wissenschaftseinrichtungen. In NRW sind verschiedene Akteure auf diesem Feld aktiv, ein systematischer Überblick über den Stand der nordrhein-westfälischen E-Government-Forschung wurde bisher jedoch nicht ermittelt. Daher hat das Informationsbüro d-NRW das Institut für Arbeitswissenschaften der Ruhr-Universität Bochum mit einer entsprechenden Studie beauftragt, die im Rahmen der Veranstaltung veröffentlicht wird.
