Im Mittelpunkt der Fachtagung stehen schnellere, mobile Breitbandübertragungsverfahren, innovative Funksensornetzwerke, genauere Ortungstechnologien und die Anwendungsperspektiven dieser Entwicklungen, beispielsweise in der Fahrzeug-Fahrzeug-Kommunikation. Diskutiert und demonstriert werden aber auch neue Geräte, innovative Userinterfaces und Einsatz-Szenarien. Sicherheitsfragen in mobilen Netzen, die Chancen und Grenzen innovativer Anwendungen sowie herausragende, technologische Entwicklungen der mobilen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik sind weitere Schwerpunkte.
