Neben der Präsentation von herausragenden aktuellen Beispielen vom Bauen mit Holz in und am Rande von Städten wird auch die Einordnung des Holzbaus in städtische Kontexte thematisiert. Parallel zur Tagung ist im Foyer des Architekturgebäudes eine Ausstellung der prämierten Bauten des Holzbaupreises 2006 in Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Sachsen-Anhalt zu sehen.
