Zum ersten Mal findet in der Technischen Universität Berlin ein "Jugend forscht"-Wettbewerb statt. Im Produkti¬onstechnischen Zentrum (TU-Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Fabrikbetrieb und Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionsanlagen und Konstruktionstechnik) werden am 4. und 5. März 2008 rund 90 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer des Regionalwettbewerbs Berlin-Mitte ihre Forschungsprojekte vor einer Fachjury präsentieren und um den 1. Platz in ihrer Disziplin kämpfen.
Die Sieger der jeweiligen Arbeitsbereiche werden dann zum Landeswettbewerb und dessen Preisträger wiederum zum Bundeswettbewerb geladen.
