Wissen schafft Entwicklung: 10 Jahre Georg Forster-Programm

Entwicklungspolitisches Forschertreffen in Bonn:
Konferenz am 17. und 18. April versammelt rund 130 Experten aus Entwicklungsländern und Deutschland

Bildung, exzellente Forschung und innovative Anwendungen gelten längst auch in Entwicklungsländern als Voraussetzung für Wachstum und Entwicklung. Doch wie können die dortigen Wissenschaftssysteme im internationalen Konkurrenzkampf bestehen, wie die besten Köpfe halten oder zurückgewinnen? Über 80 Forschungsstipendiaten und Alumni aus Entwicklungs- und Schwellenländern, die in ihrer Heimat mittlerweile selbst zu Motoren für Entwicklung geworden sind, diskutieren untereinander und mit deutschen Kollegen am 17. und 18. April bei der Konferenz "Wissen schafft Entwicklung" der Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung in Bonn.
