Um die Juden im frühen modernen Deutschland geht es bei einem Europavortrag des Historischen Instituts der Universität des Saarlandes in Zusammenarbeit mit der Hochschule für Jüdische Studien in Heidelberg. Prof. Dr. Dean Bell vom Jewish History Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies in Chicago wird in englischer Sprache über "The Jews in Early Modern Germany: Traditional Themes and New Interpretations" sprechen. Im Anschluss an den Vortrag lädt das Präsidium der Universität zu einem Empfang ein.
Der Vortrag gehört zu der Reihe "Neuere Forschungen zur Geschichte Europas. Kultur, Wirtschaft, Politik und Gesellschaft im Vergleich."
