Drei Vorträge auf Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch stehen bei dem Kolloquium zum Europa-Schwerpunkt der UdS auf dem Programm: Um europäische, abendländische und Welt-Literatur geht es bei dem ersten Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Anne Tomiche von der Universität Paris XIII. mit dem Titel: "Littérature européenne? Littérature occidentale? Littérature mondiale?".
Shakespeare steht im Mittelpunkt des Vortrages von Prof. Dr. Marc Maufort von der Freien Universität Brüssel: " Was Shakespeare Really Eurocentric? Towards a Postcolonial Reinterpretation of the European Canon." Dabei geht es darum, ob der englische Dichter und Dramatiker Europa unhinterfragt in den Mittelpunkt seines Denkens und Handelns rückte.
Auch die "Kleinen Literaturen in Europa" sind Gegenstand des Kolloquiums - mit dem Thema beschäftigt sich Prof. Dr. Roland Marti von der Universität des Saarlandes (Lehrstuhl Slavistik).
Veranstaltet wird das Kolloquium vom Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft im Rahmen des Deutsch-Französischen Diskurses des Frankreichzentrums.
