Unter dem Motto "Das Neue geschieht an den Grenzflächen" zeigt Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Peukert von der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg deren essentielle Bedeutung für die Verfahrenstechnik auf. Über die Trennung von Enantiomeren durch Kopplung von Chromatographie und Kristallisation berichtet Prof. Dr. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern vom MPI für Dynamik komplexer Technischer Systeme in Magdeburg. Prof. Dr. Mathias Ulbricht, Universität Duisburg-Essen, erläutert das Potenzial selektiver Membranen als Schlüssel zu nachhaltigen Prozessen. Den praktischen Einsatz von Trennverfahren illustriert Prof. Dr. Thomas Scheper von der Universität Hannover am Beispiel der Gewinnung von hochwertigen Proteinen aus Nebenströmen der Lebensmittelindustrie. Durch die Veranstaltung führt Dr. Reinhard Ditz, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt.
