Updated food consumption and nutrient data bases are fundamental for nutrition surveys. The congress will include a presentation of the German Nutrient Database and will give an overview over the development of a harmonised European database.
After the scientific foundation has been laid, policy will take over. The second part of the Karlsruhe Nutrition Congress will try to link science and policy: Denmark, England, and Germany will present their national action plans.
We hope to gather relevant research expertise and initiate multi-disciplinary discussions on given topics. We kindly invite you to take this opportunity to meet and exchange views with colleagues at our research centre in Karlsruhe. We are looking forward to welcoming you here.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
