First Status Symposium of the Volkswagen Foundation Evolutionary Biology Initiative

The idea behind the symposium is to provide an opportunity for all researchers funded under the Evolutionary Biology Initiative to learn about one anothers research and to provide a forum for future networks and collaborations between evolutionary biologists both within and outside of Germany.

25th - 27th February 2009, Münster, Germany

The symposium is being organised by Sophie Armitage, Joachim Kurtz, Arndt Telschow and Erich Bornberg-Bauer from the Institute of Evolution and Biodiversity, University of Münster, which currently hosts two VW-funded post-docs as well as a training concept grant including an assistant professorship and PhD. The symposium is funded by the VolkswagenStiftung.
