Brücken über Spreearme und -kanäle prägen seit dem Mittelalter das Stadtbild von Berlin. Im Laufe der Zeit veränderte man je nach Erfordernissen Material, Konstruktion und Gestaltung. Vorgeführt werden die schönsten Brückenbauten aus Naturwerkstein im zentralen Bereich mit Erläuterung von Eignung, Herkunft, Alter und Entstehung des Materials.
