Die wichtigsten Ostseefischarten sind zu sehen. An Plattfischen wird gezeigt, wie eine Schlachtprobe aufgearbeitet wird und erläutert, welche Informationen dabei für die Fischereibiologen besonders wichtig sind.
Wie wird das Alter der Fische bestimmt? Auch hierzu kann man sich vor dem Forschungskutter informieren.
Ein spezielles Planktonnetz für Untersuchungen zur Entwicklung des Fischnachwuchses wird zu sehen sein und die Fischlarven, die man damit fängt.
Wenn jemand wissen, möchte wie man ein Fischforscher wird - dann sollte man einfach die Kollegen zu ihrem Werdegang befragen.
