Im Mittelpunkt der Tagung steht ein Paradox: Einerseits gewinnt in der öffentlichen Debatte der bewusste moralische Konsum an Bedeutung - wie die Bewegung der "lohas" (lifestyle of health and sustainability) zeigt - andererseits sind nur wenige Verbraucher bereit, ihren Lebensstil und ihr Kaufverhalten den Erfordernissen des Klimawandels anzupassen.
