Das Konzert des "SO Jazz Quartets" (Piotr Wojtasik, Sylwester Ostrowski, Wayne Dockery und Newman Taylor Baker) steht im Kontext zur Gründung der Akademie der Künste Szczecin im kommenden Jahr und soll den Beginn einer Kooperation zwischen der Akademie und dem Caspar-David-Friedrich-Institut einleiten.
Die Akademie der Künste Szczecin soll als eine öffentliche Hochschule jungen Künstlern die Möglichkeit geben, sich in künstlerische Studiengänge wie zum Beispiel Jazzmusik zu vertiefen.
