Die Veranstaltung beschäftigt sich mit der Analyse komplexer Zusammenhänge zwischen beobachteten und/oder unbeobachteten Variablen. Dabei geht es u.a. um spezielle Modelle, Multiple Gruppenvergleiche und die statistische Überprüfung der Anpassungsgüte. Praktische Übungen runden die Theorie ab. Als Analyseprogramm wird EQS in der aktuellen Version 6.1 eingesetzt. Zusätzlich werden Vergleiche zu anderen weit verbreiteten Programmen wie LISREL und Mplus gezogen.

Das zweitägige Seminar findet im Gerhard-Mercator-Haus am Campus Duisburg statt und richtet sich an Interessenten, die Grundkenntnisse in multivariaten statistischen Analyseverfahren und Inferenzstatistik besitzen. Eine Anmeldung ist bis zum 12. Februar möglich, die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt 290 Euro.
