Der Kongressort Bremen steht auch für die Vielfalt der Bremer Forschungsaktivitäten im Bereich der Psychologie, die von Klinischer Kinderpsychologie über Pflegeforschung, Sozial- und Neuropsychologie bis hin zur Gerontopsychologie reichen. Auf der Tagung mit über 2.000 Beiträgen – eine bisher noch nie erreichte Resonanz bei einem nationalen Psychologiekongress – geht es auch um die Kooperation mit Nachbardisziplinen wie Gesundheitswissenschaften und Psychiatrie.
