Am Donnerstag, den 23.09.2010, wird das Kolloquium von Daniel Fulda eröffnet und am Nachmittag wird der Bezug von Hamann zu Kant diskutiert, u. a. von Manfred Kühn. Im zweiten Teil des Nachmittags werden Briefe von Hamann an einzelne Briefpartner wie Matthias Claudius und Johann George Scheffner vorgestellt.
Der Freitag ist, nach einführenden Veranstaltungen am Vormittag, unterteilt in die Sektionen "Hamann und Herder" und "Hamann und Jacobi" am Nachmittag.
Nach den Gesprächen über Hamann und seine Briefpartner am Donnerstag und Freitag, werden am Samstag regionale Beziehungen und biographische Perspektiven vorgestellt und schließlich die Diskussion auf aktuelle Perspektiven der Hamannforschung gelenkt.
