The objective of this symposium is to gather scientists and engineers working in the field of Laser Metrology and provide a forum for discussion for exchanging points of view and experience and sharing research results through high quality peer reviewed papers. It targets the broad area of lasers and optical metrology with applications ranging from macro and micro to nano-engineering. These include specific applications in aerospace, automotive and transport, medical, photonics, manufacturing and defense.
Submission of papers
We invite you to submit original, unpublished papers in the fields mentioned under Topics.
The authors of papers/posters are requested to submit a short abstract of max. 2 pages (DIN A4) including
* Title of the paper and/or poster and 3–4 keywords
* Information about you: name, title(s), company address, department,
affiliation, e-mail, telephone and fax number
* How you would like to present your paper upon acceptance (full or
poster presentation)
* In which topic area(s) your presentation should be listed
* A bibliography of your previous publications about this subjecttitle
* Enough details to clearly convey the approach and the results of the research.
* The contents of the abstracts will be the basis for accepting the papers/posters at the symposium.
The use of the available template as well as electronic submission in PDF-format is mandatory.
Submission deadline is January 3, 2011.
Notification of acceptance will be given by March 31, 2011. Upon acceptance, authors will be requested to submit the full length papers of 4-6 pages no later than June 1, 2011.
