Die Veranstaltung ist Teil der Reihe „Forschen für morgen. Zwölf Antworten aus zwölf Disziplinen der Wissenschaft“, die außergewöhnliche Forscherinnen und ihre wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten präsentiert. Sie findet von November 2010 bis Oktober 2011 an der Universität Heidelberg stattfindet. Die vom Gleichstellungsbüro initiierte Vortragsreihe ist ein Beitrag zum Jubiläumsprogramm aus Anlass des 625-jährigen Bestehens der Ruperto Carola.
