Fachleute aus Theorie und Praxis gehen in Vorträgen und Diskussionen den Fragen nach: Handelt es sich um dasselbe – nur mit neuer Technik – oder doch etwas ganz anderes? Welche Auswirkungen auf Konnektivität, Funktionen, Verfügbarkeit, Sicherheit und Quality on Service (QoS) wird es geben? Nach der Eröffnung durch TH-Vizepräsident Prof. Dr. Jörg Peter und einem Einführungsreferat von Dr. Günter-Ulrich Tolkiehn (TH-Professor für Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik) werden Fachvorträge zu den Themen »Transport von Sprache über Ethernet«, »Sicherheit moderner Daten- und Speicher-Netze«, »Unified Communications, was brauchen wir wirklich?«, »Fit für Echtzeitanwendungen« sowie »Konversation - Wenn Kommunikation zum Erlebnis wird« die Inhalte weiter vertiefen.

Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt 50,00 Euro, für Studierende und Vertreter staatlicher Universitäten und Fachhochschulen wird keine Teilnahmegebühr erhoben.
