MICC ist ein Forschungsvorhaben im BMBF-Förderschwerpunkt „Innovationsstrategien jenseits traditionellen Managements“. Es untersucht, wie Organisationen und ihre Kulturen mit musikalischen Methoden weiterentwickelt werden können. Dabei spielt der künstlerische Blick auf Improvisationstechniken und Innovationsfähigkeiten eine zentrale Rolle.
In Workshops werden Muster der Improvisation, organisatorische Formen und ihre Bedeutung für soziale Systeme vorgestellt. „Mit Organisationspartituren lassen sich Prozesse, Abläufe und Interaktionen darstellen“, erklären Gisela Humpert und David Vossebrecher, Referenten des MICC-Forschungsteams, die neue Methode. „Sie helfen dabei, musikalisch zu denken und damit verborgene Muster in Organisationen zu analysieren.“
Bei „Organization in Real Time“ präsentiert die Jazzformation DRA² um den bekannten Vibraphonisten Christopher Dell Verfahren musikalischer Improvisation in einer öffentlichen Probe, mit abendlicher Uraufführung. In der Verbindung von Architektur und sozialen Systemen zeigt Architekt Hajo Neis aus den USA, was lebendige Raumstrukturen ausmacht.
Um Innovation und die Kunst der Improvisation geht es am zweiten Tag, denn diese Strukturen tauchen interdisziplinär in Theater, Tanz, Musik und Fußball auf. Ursula Bertram von der TU Dortmund gibt Impulse über non-lineare Innovationstreiber, die dann in den Diskurs von Theorie und Praxis gestellt werden. Zu der Tagung werden etwa 60 Teilnehmende aus dem In- und Ausland erwartet.
