The search for ways out of the European debt crisis is increasingly developing into a debate about the future of Europe and the EU. Culture, education and knowledge are exports that have given European countries the edge in competing for influence and regard in the world. Could they be the key to a shared, successful future for Europe? Does Europe have a coherent approach to “cultural diplomacy”? How can Europe hold its own and expand in the face of the cultures of rising global actors such as China, Brazil and India? What role should Germany play in this process? These and more questions will be debated from a German (19 September) and international perspective (26 September) as part of the event series, re:thinking tomorrow.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
