Each year, KSOP office organizes a contact fair with companies from the optics & photonics industry. Students as well as doctoral candidates get in direct contact with representatives from industry. Besides the exhibition, the companies hold lectures on their latest technologies and introduce themselves. Within the scope of these lectures the students have the opportunity for discussions and questions. Every second year, the contact fair is part of the Karlsruhe Days of Optics & Photonics (KDOP) which adjoin a symposium prior to the fair.
