Mit der internationalen Tagung NUMDIFF-13 wird die bewährte NUMDIFF-Reihe in Halle fortgesetzt. Diese Tagungen werden gemeinsam vom Institut für Mathematik der MLU (Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Weiner, Prof. Dr. Martin Arnold, Dr. Helmut Podhaisky) und vom CWI Amsterdam (Prof. Dr. Jason Frank, Prof. Dr. Willem Hundsdorfer) veranstaltet und zählen zu den wichtigsten auf dem Gebiet der numerischen Behandlung von Differentialgleichungen in Europa.
